June 11th represented 1 year of Hear Our Roar and so that meant balloons and cake!
The members of the group also had a chance to look at photographic print outs of various locations around Perth, getting them thinking about what were their favourite places and why?
Members thought about whether these places were friendly, easy to get to, accessible, interesting and fun.
They were deciding on whether for them, places in Perth, such as Perth Theatre, The Concert Hall, The Museum, Perth Swimming Pool, the Parks ( North and South Inches) were deserving of 2, 3, or 4 or more stars. Members could also place a happy or sad face next to these places, or if they were able, to write out some detail or express to others, and the wider group via a microphone so they could be heard.

The group meeting finished with much needed cake to celebrate that Hear Our Roar had been going for 1 year.
